How to prepare artwork files for print

Print-ready files save time and prevent surprises. A few basics make all the difference to the finished result.

Supply artwork at 300dpi at final size so images stay crisp — low-resolution files pulled from websites often print blurry. Export as a press-ready PDF with fonts embedded or outlined so type doesn't reflow.

Set the document in CMYK, add 3mm bleed and keep key content inside the safe area. If you use specific brand colours, tell us the reference so we can match them.

If preparing files feels daunting, that's exactly what we're here for — design is included free with every eligible print order, so we can build your artwork correctly from the outset.
