Choosing the right paper stock for your print

Choosing the right paper stock for your print

Paper is part of your brand. The same design feels completely different on a textured uncoated card versus a heavy gloss.

As a rule: uncoated for warmth and writability, silk for a premium balanced finish, gloss for punchy colour. Weight matters too — a 400gsm business card feels far more substantial than a flimsy 300gsm one.

Think about function as well as feel: menus need wipe-clean durability, while a luxury invitation benefits from a tactile, uncoated stock.

We'll always recommend the right stock for your budget and bring samples so you can feel the difference before you commit.
